We were extremely proud to support a local cause by donating both materials and labour to install new fencing for a horse charity in Countesthorpe, Leicestershire. This project allowed us to give back to the community while ensuring a safe and secure environment for the charity’s young horses.

Supporting a Local Horse Charity

After being approached by the charity, we were pleased to offer our services free of charge. The existing boundary fencing required upgrading to improve safety for the colts, and we were more than happy to help by providing a durable, long-lasting fencing solution suited to equestrian use.

Installation: 1.2m Morticed Post & Rail Fencing

For this project, we supplied and installed 1.2 metre high morticed post and rail fencing, a traditional and highly effective fencing system commonly used for paddocks and equestrian enclosures.

• Morticed timber posts were securely set into the ground to ensure strength and longevity

• The fencing provides clear visibility while preventing horses from leaning or escaping

• Pressure-treated timber was used to maximise resistance to rot and weathering

This style of fencing is ideal for horses, offering both safety and a classic rural appearance that blends naturally into the surrounding landscape.
